Yogini was born at the end of a yoga class, on a mat. Regina Zimmermann, the brand's founder, stepped off that mat with a feeling she wanted to share with as many people as possible. That feeling became Yogini, the first Brazilian fashion brand inspired by yoga, born over 15 years ago with a very clear purpose: to bring the wellbeing of yoga beyond the practice, into everyday life.
Yogini is synonymous with casual, simple and sophisticated fashion, always comfortable, designed for those who carry the yoga spirit wherever they go. The brand's universe is built around Santosha, the yogic concept of inner contentment, a happiness that comes from within and expands into how we move, dress and live.
Yogini's material choices reflect the same consciousness the brand brings to everything else. Collections are built around natural and low-impact fibres: cotton sourced from the flower of the cotton plant, breathable and soft; bamboo viscose, a sustainable fabric made from a plant that renews itself, requires no replanting, grows rapidly and is produced without pesticides with reduced water consumption; linen blended with viscose for natural drape and durability; and cellulose-based viscose for that signature light, second-skin feel. Each fabric is chosen for how it makes the body feel and for the smaller footprint it leaves behind.
