Founded in 2013 and rooted in more than four decades of footwear expertise, Lemon Jelly is a Portuguese brand that set out to prove that a shoe can be playful, beautiful and genuinely responsible all at once. Designed, developed and produced in Portugal, each pair is injected with the brand's signature lemon scent, a detail that captures exactly what Lemon Jelly is: cheerful, distinct and impossible to ignore.
Since 2019, Lemon Jelly has been a PETA-approved vegan brand. No animal-based components of any kind are used in any product, including natural furs, feathers, silk or wool. The shoes are made from high-quality durable plastic, which the brand treats not as a liability but as a material with a lifecycle to be managed responsibly.
Lemon Jelly uses production waste and old pairs of shoes to create new ones, transforming plastic from recycled to recyclable in a continuous loop. The Wasteless Act line was the brand's first shoe collection made entirely from 100% recycled plastic, and it marked the beginning of a structural commitment to circularity that goes well beyond marketing.
