Gandaia — New Beginnings, Rooted in Craft.

Gandaia is a Lisbon-based brand founded in 2025 by Vera Caldeira and Pedro Ferraz, the creative duo behind Mustique. After years of hands-on experience in fashion design, production and retail, the two childhood friends launched Gandaia as a natural evolution of their creative journey: a more refined chapter, grounded in timeless design without losing the spirit that first put them on the map.

Mustique was born in 2018 from a trip to India, where Vera and Pedro designed and produced their first collection of block printed shirts, quickly becoming a cult favourite among Lisbon's youth and creative community. Bold, irreverent and full of character, the brand built a loyal following over the years. Gandaia carries that same creative foundation forward, but with a more mature tone: classic cuts, elevated fabrics and subtle detailing, pieces that are versatile, well-crafted and built to age beautifully.

Every Gandaia collection is sourced and produced in Portugal, in close collaboration with local suppliers and artisans who share the brand's values of quality, transparency and authenticity. It is a small and dedicated team, and that proximity shows in every piece.
