Camper
Camper — Walking With Purpose Since 1975.
Founded in 1975 on the Spanish island of Mallorca, Camper was born from a family tradition of shoemaking and a clear conviction: that footwear could be fun, responsible and built to last. The very first Camper shoe, the Camaleón, was made from scraps of leather and rubber, a detail that says everything about where the brand's values have always stood.
Camper designs footwear that is as creative as it is functional, rooted in the Mediterranean spirit of Mallorca and shaped by decades of shoemaking expertise. Iconic models like the Pelotas, launched in 1995 and today offered with a lifetime guarantee, and the Wabi, a monomaterial shoe inspired by Japanese minimalism, reflect a design philosophy that values simplicity, quality and longevity over trend.
Camper's commitment to sustainability is not recent. In 2002, the brand ran an advertising campaign with the line "If you don't need it, don't buy it", a bold slow fashion statement at a time when few brands were having that conversation. Today, Camper is a certified B Corp, with carbon reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative and a goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030. Through its ReCamper programme, used shoes are collected, repaired, upcycled or resold, closing the loop on footwear consumption.
