The DCK story begins in 2009, when three friends returned from a trip to Bali with suitcases full of boardshorts. Back in Portugal, finding high-quality, stylish and affordable swimwear was nearly impossible, so they decided to create their own brand, named after their initials. What started as sales to friends and family grew, over more than a decade, into a Portuguese brand with international presence and a very clear philosophy: quality, authenticity and purpose.
DCK produces in limited editions: when it's gone, it's gone. Over 70% of the materials used are recycled or eco-friendly, and the brand was a pioneer in Europe in producing with CiCLO® Technology fibres, a biodegradable polyester that, unlike conventional synthetics, breaks down naturally over time in soil, water and landfill, drastically reducing the environmental impact of microfibres. The brand also incorporates hemp into its collections, a fibre that requires significantly less water than conventional cotton, without compromising on style or comfort.
