The first chair designed by Sergio Rodrigues, in 1956.
“It’s the first chair I’ve seen that has a traditional Brazilian spirit and is modern construction.” Architect Lucio Costa commented in the same year, when he came across the drawings. The chair, which previously had the name CD07, was re-baptized with the name of the architect.
