SIXXTA

SIXXTA is a Colombian womenswear label born in Girón, a small colonial town in the Santander region whose whitewashed façades and cobbled streets have shaped the brand’s identity from the very beginning. Founded by creative director Mayra Gómez and Lúdwing Serrano, the brand builds each collection around memory: of home, of Colombian identity, and of the women who made Mayra who she is.

A Wardrobe Made of Memories

Mayra designs every collection herself, drawing on the textures of everyday life in Girón. Local food finds its way onto the prints, from ripe tomatoes to kitchen utensils, while her aunts, the women who raised her, remain a constant source of inspiration. The result is clothing that feels joyful and deeply personal, made for relaxed, curious women who love fashion as much as the stories behind it, and designed with comfort and a generous size range in mind.

Sisterhood in a Name

Women sit at the heart of everything SIXXTA does, with collections created to celebrate female strength. Even the name carries this spirit: by happy coincidence it echoes the English word “sister”, a quiet nod to the sense of sisterhood that runs through the brand. Since its early days, SIXXTA has also championed female empowerment and the traditions of its hometown within its own community.

Made in Colombia, by Hand

Every SIXXTA piece is made in Colombia, most of it in the brand’s own sewing workshop in Girón, using artisanal processes. Collections are crafted primarily in 100% cotton and recycled cotton, with recycled polyester used in smaller measure, and denim offcuts are given a second life in complementary pieces such as bags. As the brand puts it, its clothes are born just like its founders, in Girón.

SIXXTA & Be We

SIXXTA joins the Be We universe as proof that local production and personal storytelling can travel far without losing their roots. Its commitment to making in its hometown, to reducing waste through the thoughtful reuse of materials, and to celebrating the women behind every collection reflects what Be We stands for: fashion with a sense of place, made with care and worn with meaning.
